No political post from me. No discussion on who I voted for and why I choose the candidate I did. No opinion on the state of our Country moving forward. Instead, I am begging for cute puppies, adorable children, great home-cooked meals and warm and cozy home decor shots to grace the aspects of my Facebook wall again. Please, stop the hate!! I snagged this picture on our newly power washed deck. I had no clue what natural beauty existed beneath. But, soon this too will be a distant memory as we are painting our deck and home. I have been Googling like crazy exterior paint and design. My Pinterest Board blew up too with some pins and I fell in love with This charming home.

I turned 30 last week, and my dear parents bought me my favorite boots! So, now I am contemplating a Matching Pair for Lo. I feel like there is a marginal window when we can wear matching attire.

No foundation? This is me. Well not me but my routine. I cut out the liquid foundation long ago, and recently even powder. Instead I too, opt for a concealer dab.

How lovely is This Top? Seriously! I can see it paired adorably with flowy Army green shorts, to end out summer. Then paired with dark denim skinny jeans and ankle boots. Check out, please!

Another day. Another week, and here we are again, friends. Starring at the weekend. Wanting to accomplish so much in such a short amount of time. Last weekend was a whirlwind! A fun whirlwind of excitement for my sweet cousin who will soon be a Mrs., a friend and mother-in-law who celebrated birthdays, a sleepover with my baby sister, an oil change, a market run and early morning dessert making and overall motherhood and keeping up with daily life. It was fun. It was exciting, but this weekend, I am looking forward to sweet Lo, catching up on my household chores that build, and spending time outdoors. Whew! Who is with me?

This Video moved me this week to tears. Who will stop the bullying?

Can I tell you which brand knocked it out of the park this week? bon appetit magazine. Nailed it! You are hip.

Make fun of me all you will. I am obsessed with the Royal Family! I want to hang out with Queen Mum who celebrated her 90th! Happy Birthday.

As I mentioned above last weekend my little sister stayed overnight and with her she brought Adult Coloring Books. Now I am hooked! It was so peaceful and relaxing. We colored until 12:30 am. I know, rebels.

Happy Friday! Let’s shout it from the rooftops. Shout it from our cars, with the windows down. Ummm, let’s not do either because winter has returned to the East Coast and snowfall is expected overnight into Saturday. Say Whaa?! Whaa! Is right. Oh, Mother Nature, you got your seasons mixed up. Just last week I snapped this beautiful tree in Spring bloom. Oh, I miss you Spring.

I was so excited for the weekend to possibly take Lo to a local Maple Syrup festival (mostly because this Momma wanted some sweet treats) but after seeing the forecast, yeah, that is not happening. Oh, bummer. Looks like Plan B is in action (by the way, I have no clue what Plan B is yet).

I love Coffee + Crumbs! You hear, that, Coffee + Crumbs? I love you!! This post moved me this week. Oh, woking Momma’s, you have a crazy place in my beating heart.

If you could have dinner and drinks with one celebrity, do you know who you would pick? I would choose, Melissa McCarthy! I love her. No, I adore her and I adore This Video of her and Jimmy Fallon Lip Sync Battling. Genius by the way!

It is Old Navy Super Cash time. Holla! Can I tell you what you should stop, drop and shop for right this second? This super comfortable t-shirt. Um, it is perfection! No lie. I have been on the hunt for the perfect t-shirt for many years it seems. I stumbled upon this one and love it so much that I am cashing in my Super Cash for more of this same t-shirt in different colors. I recommend if a comfort t-shirt is what you have been after.

Being the oldest kid is awesome. Just read This.

Bathing Suit season is just around the corner. Ugh. Dread. But, This Swimsuit is on point and super cute. I love the surprise coral.

I use to say Summer was my favorite season but as I get older, I am pretty sure that Fall has my heart. I don’t know, maybe it is the festivals (many of which I am eyeing up for our calendar), the sweaters and scarves, hot chocolate and coffees, boots, pumpkins, or the holiday season which is just around the corner! I love Fall.

Cheers to the weekend! You know what I am looking forward to? I am looking forward to napping. I know, I am lame. If you saw my post earlier this week, you know we are transitioning Baby Lo to her crib. Therefore, Momma Bear is just not sleeping. Partly because of worry and partly because Baby Lo needs soothed back to sleep a bit. Is it bad of me to say that I am so looking forward to her morning nap which may produce an extra hour of shut eye for me? I can tell you think I am so very daring and interesting these days.

This week I curled up on the couch and fell asleep before 9:00 pm, and let me tell you it was glorious. Just glorious I say! Once Baby Lo was tucked in bed for the night I said “Goodnight dishes, see ya tomorrow basket full of a laundry, and, ha ha ha, yeah, I will pay you over the phone, bills,” and I curled myself up in a ball under a blanket and drifted into a beautiful sleep. I think my mind and body needed it and guess what? I did not miss a thing. Everything I said goodnight to waited for me in the morning. Here are this week’s top Links. Likes. Loves.

This week has been crazy!! So, crazy that I ended that last sentence with two exclamation points. I am so looking forward to the weekend and not really having anything on our agendas. I am thinking it will be a great weekend to get up early, stop by the local bakery for some homemade doughnuts (they make ones with an icing dipped in chocolate chips and I am all like, “get in my belly!”), grab a coffee and take Baby Lo for a morning stroll. To me this little scenario sounds just too perfect.

Some of my favorite Blogs that I follow have this one thing in common.  They share some of their favorite links from the week in a post going into the weekend. Since imitation is the highest form of flattery I decided to give it a try and see where it goes.

  1. A baby, a Mom and a Professor. This story happened and I can’t help but think the world would be better if we didn’t draw lines in the sand.
  2. This craziness happened this week and I just get so excited to watch things unfold.
  3. Dadbod… yeah it is a thing and then this article came along and the skies opened and everyone was like, “Ahhhhh!”
  4. I stumbled across this Etsy Shop. I seriously could get lost for days on Etsy. One click leads to another. I am eyeing up this shirt for Baby Lo and this headband!
  5. I can be a germaphobe. There I admitted it. This little invention for a pacifier. Genius! I am buying one, no, five!
  6. If you only click through to one of these, PICK ME! This video sums it up, Mommas. “Why it Sucks to be a Working Mom in America.”
  7. I pronounced a name wrong this week in a meeting. I so, needed this article on what to do after you screw up professionally.
  8. I am hoping to attempt this craft project this weekend. I have had all the supplies for weeks!
  9. I am loving this dress by Zara. It just speaks to me. It says, “Meet me where the waves meet the sand!”
  10. This gave me the biggest smile. We take so much for granted in life. These people are hearing for the first time and their emotions are beautiful.
