Well we have a 9 month old in our home. She is successfully crawling which means nothing is safe. I remember I once said, “I can’t wait until she crawls,” and another fellow Mommy looked at me with a furrowed brow and said, “No, you don’t.”
“Cranky, much?” I thought.
What I did not realize was just how much chasing I would be doing.
I can basically dump an entire toy box in front of her but she bypasses it all for the radiator (thank goodness no heat on yet!), cords from table lamps, magazine shelves, oh, and that random dime that only a baby-eye can spot!
Baby Lo is enjoying her new found curiosity, I on the other hand am the constant chaser but also in awe of the growth mentally and physically she makes in just days time.
One thing is starting to become evident… my baby is gaining her independence.
BABY MUST HAVES
1 – Munchin Fresh Food Feeder – At this time you can start to introduce your baby to more and more solids. This Food Feeder allows Baby Lo to gain nutrients and treat her taste buds with new foods, while worry-wart-Mommy can rest assursed that she is not taking too big of bites. We enjoy bananas, peaches and watermelon!
2 – Nuby Trainer Sippy Cup – The Sippy Cup is great to help baby develop their motor skills. Baby Lo is still shy on holding her own bottle. I mean she is a lazy feeder. Milk, it kid as long as you can (pun intended)! I love the design of these bottles. No wonder baby will adapt to using herself.
3 – Little Tykes Swing – We have fallen in love with this outdoor swing! If your baby loves the outdoors and is looking for a new view and new experience, the swing will capture their attention… for a few moments.
4 – GERBER GRADUATES Puffs – I pack a container of these in Baby Lo’s diaper bag because they are super easy and messy-proof. Plus, the Puffs have helped Baby Lo develop her hand-to-mouth coordination. I tend to place two to three on her highchair tray in-between spoon feedings to assist in teaching her to feed herself.
5 – Comfort & Harmony Cozy Shopping Cart Cover – If you are a germaphobe like me and do not own your own Shopping Cart (wait, you don’t?), then the Cozy Shopping Cart Cover is a must! It slips right over the seat section of shopping carts, providing a snug seat for baby with straps and even some storage.
6 – Infants’ TYLENOL – If your 6-9 month is anything like mine then she has been showing teething symptoms for months… months I tell ya! Seriously, go buy some, even if you have yet to use medicine. We had a nice 3:00 a.m. meltdown and fever and I was so grateful I had some on-hand.
